So, my Baptist-seminarian friend is getting married in September. Very cool. And, thinking back, I seem to remember participating in or hearing about how many cows the lovely Trish would actually fetch in Sudan.

I'd love to be at the wedding, but I'm in that in-between stage of life right now. Will I have a job? Where will it be? Can I contract up front for time off in September to go to a wedding in Virginia (or Carolina, or West Virginia, or North Carolina, or South Carolina -- damn, you people have way too many states way too close together).

Message to Tripp: Anything I may have said about married life I will explicitly deny; unless, of course, it was all good and pastoral and helps you out.
