The Finished Project

Carpet Fundraiser Project
Originally uploaded by reverendref

Well, here it is. This is what all those discussions about fund raising possibilities (thanks, Jane) and thoughts and grandiose plans have finally resulted in. These are the four most prominent stained glass windows centered around a piece of the original carpet. The bottom gives a brief history of St. Paul's.

**UPDATE** These items are being sold for $150 plus $30 S&H from Sheridan. To order, please visit the RVEC website.

Really nice!

Make sure people's kids know about it ... would be a great present for someone who has left the area.

I'll just make the suggestion that you might find a good deal on framing at americanframe.com -- that's what I use. :)

Good luck and good work.

Well, if you are ever canonised they'll make spiffing second-class relics! :)

Seriously, nice work.

YF -- Yeah, like that's going to happen.

But thanks, I was really pleased with how it came out. And, if you want one, you can go visit the parish website.

Hint hint .... ;)

Outstanding! Can we still get the posty that says "Bp. Brewer stepped here."?? May your "piles" bring you more happiness than mine!

I think that is such a fantastic idea, for a church that has that kind of history. The church I go to now that I live in Florida is a brand new building, but the church I grew up in was established in 1892 and it would have been great if someone had thought to preserve some pieces of the physical history of the building before it was renovated in during my childhood.
