Tax Man

Several weeks ago I received the packet from my CPA telling me it was time to pull everything together.

I use a CPA because, really, I don't know what the hell I'm doing when it comes to that stuff, and I figure paying her saves me a whole lot of headaches.

I'm getting better at stuff, though . . . I think. And when I dropped off the packet for her to work on, I gave her my usual line:

"You know the drill . . . keep me out of jail and get me some money back."

She hasn't always followed through on the second half of that equation, but she has always come through on the first part. So all in all, it's a good deal.
