Okay . . . So the team I was rooting for, the Cardinals, lost again. This is why I don't bet.
However . . . that was one hell of game.
Here's to the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers for giving us one of too few great Super Bowls.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

That was truly amazing. And it think it qualified in every way for your definition of a good game. Close score, no injuries and the officiating was top notch. Lot of DUMB penalties but that was the player's faults.
Yep . . . good game with lots of ups and downs, great execution and stupid mistakes. I thought the officiating was very good in what turned out to be one of the chippiest Super Bowls in recent memory. In my opinion, there was only one bad call, and that was the roughing the passer on Big Ben after he had been scrambling around; I thought that was just too close to flag. That said, however, the Cardinals' defense came up HUGE on that series and held the Steelers to only a field goal, so the call didn't really have any impact.
*sigh* Only seven more months until the regular season begins again.
I was rooting for the Cardinals too but that was one of the most exciting Super Bowls I can remember watching. I really felt bad for Warner. Really only that interception was on his shoulders. There's only so much you can do when everyone else touching the ball has butter fingers or every time you throw a 17-yard pass, 15 of it comes back for a penalty.
