GENERAL FOOTBALL THOUGHTS (or not)

Well, the Thanksgiving weekend is over. I managed to catch the traditional good game and traditional turkey on Thanksgiving day, so it wasn't all bad. Saw a few on Friday while I was planted on the sofa with Mrs. Ref instead of raking leaves. That was a mistake (not sitting with Mrs. Ref, but not raking leaves).

It snowed big time Saturday. I got sick Saturday morning with a sore throat. I hate sore throats. We drove to Butte for some necessary grocery shopping. Tried to get ready for service on Sunday and take care of my throat. The leaves didn't get raked.

I also noticed that Montana lost in the first round of the Div. 1-AA playoffs. That sucks.

Went to bed. Slept miserably. Got up at 6 to shovel snow off the church sidewalk and steps. Survived both services. Came home and got to watch the Seahawks try their best to lose to the NY Giants. You gotta feel sorry for Jay Feely. I mean, the poor guy's going to be ripped apart in the NY media tomorrow for missing not one, not two, but THREE game winning field goals. It was a heckuva game though.

And now, off to bed. My throat is still sore, my muscles are beginning to ache, and I just want to sleep. But that won't happen.

I HATE BEING SICK.
