DUMMMMM DA DUMMM DUM . . .

Mrs. Ref received her first court summons for jury duty yesterday. Remember, she's been on the list since May of last year. That's the way they do it out here. Put you on a list for a year and then call you when they need you. Much better than sitting around wasting time for two weeks.

So she got called to report to the county courthouse Monday, January 30, 2006.

"And herein fail not."

Oh, there must be some mistake. She needs to explain to them that they've got the schedule all wrong. County seat days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
