THIS IS GOOD

Name one other job where you are expected to start perfect and get better.

Here's an interesting article that gives a little insight into my hobby of choice.

If you ever think you can do better, then get off the couch and go buy yourself a uniform and get to work.

Go refs!

I was one once. I'm was vilified. Harassed. Of course, I was also horrible at it.

Name a job "where you are expected to start perfect and get better?" Easy.

I've been reading a lot of job descriptions and expectations lately. That also sounds like what some folks want from their clergy.

I was in Indianapolis for a Christian Ed conference the weekend of the Steelers Colts game. An NFL ref arrived on the same flight with me (he was wearing an NFL ID tag on his carryon). I just saw that he's also on the Super Bowl crew - Garth DeFelice. Hope he was good luck for the Steelers before and now! He's the Umpire so watch for him, #53 I think.
