SO MANY POSSIBILITIES

Titles to this post that crossed my mind:

In Memorium
He Was a Size 7-1/2
At Least It Wasn't Winter

Ah well ... I'll just say that Trinity, one of our two free Guinea pigs died yesterday. The Kid had them out in the back yard getting some fresh air. When she went to bring them in, Trinity had ... well ... expired.

The Kid was less than pleased with this development.

So, after her 4-H meeting, I dutifully took the body out back, dug a hole in which the size 7-1/2 shoebox (which contained a Guinea pig, a note from The Kid, dandelions and pieces of orange) fit perfectly, held a short burial service with The Kid, and that was that.

At least it wasn't the one who had his leg broken three years ago. Long-time readers will recall that THAT particular episode required microsurgery, an amputation, and $600. That guy had better live a very very long time.

Oh no! Please give "the kid" our condolences and a big hug. Loosing a pet is never easy, no matter what kind.
