DENIAL???

So today is Juli's last day with us. We take her to the airport at 4 a.m. Tuesday morning. **UGH**

We had sort of a going away party for her. She invited all her friends to come over, have some food, cake and time to say goodbye. I was slightly disappointed by the turnout, as only four of the people she invited showed up. I was hoping that she would have more people to send her off. And, as we speak (or as I type and you read), a few more kids showed up, so that's cool.

Even with the sketchy turnout, it was fun. We took more pictures, said our goodbyes (actually, they said their goodbyes, we get to do that tomorrow morning), and nobody was in tears. Which I happened to let loose a few during Sunday service when I said the prayer for travelers for her just before the offertory.

It's been a good seven months. I'm going to miss that girl.
