BOIL

Sheridan was hit with a boil order beginning August 4. We didn't find out about it until August 7.

Supposedly a construction crew contaminated the water line.

The city is chlorinating the water to clean it out, and they suggesting boiling the water for five minutes just to be safe.

We never got a notice.

And then, while wandering around the hospital on Monday, I came across a new notice that said, in essence, that the water tests had found traces of fecal matter and you should boil the water for at least ten minutes.

Again, we never received that notice. This may be my last post . . .

No, not really. But we are living on bottled water for the time being. How long? I don't know. I would assume that we will be using it several days after the ban has been lifted . . . because, you know . . .

WE'LL NEVER GET A NOTICE
