GETTING READY

This weekend is our diocesan convention. So it's been a week of preparation. A deanery pre-convention meeting last Saturday that was relatively well attended. A decent slate of football games this week. Finished my sermon that will be read to the VC congregation while I'm at convention. Did a few loads of laundry so I don't run out of essentials while I'm out of town. Today I'll get the sermon typed and delivered to my VC Senior Warden. And I really really really need to get something figured out regarding church history for our Soup & Scripture night next week.

Oh ... and I read this article in the NYT this morning. This is something all of us here in SW MT are highly aware of. The libraries in both Sheridan and VC have high speed, but that's because they got some sort of funding for it. For the rest of us ... good luck. Although I did notice that "Free Public Wi-Fi" signs have gone up around the downtown core of Sheridan recently. So, if you have a wi-fi card, you're in business.

And that is about all I know at this time of the morning.
