Today's a big day. The Seattle Seahawks are in Chicago to take on Da Bears . . .
There's a lot riding on this game. First of all, will Seattle overcome their road playoff ineptness (something like 1-5)? Will Chicago overcome their home playoff ineptness (0-3)? Will Seattle's offense finally get going? Will Chicago take ESPN's analyst Merrill Hodge's advice and hide Rex Grossman for three quarters, only allowing him to pass in the fourth quarter after they have a big lead? Will New Orleans get what they want and actually host an NFC Championship game?
Oh yes . . . there's a lot riding on this game. A Seattle win would give me a warm fuzzy feeling all over; for a few hours anyway.
GO 'HAWKS!!!!

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Wow.
7:34 left in the 4th quarter. Good gane thus far.
*squeak*
Yeah...24 all now...4:24 left in the game.
Wahoo!!! Foooooooootbaaaaaaaaaaaal!
Alexander is unreal.
Fumble!! Da Bears have the ball.
Chicago does nuttin'. Bugger. Now Alexander is gonna tear these boys apart.
:54 left...Will the 'Hawks get into kicking range? Mmmm...hard to say. The 'Hawks are doing well managing the clock.
And Alexander again...the clock is ticking. :30 left. Second and ten.
(Do you like Troy Aikman's color commentary?)
Deeeeeep pass...nearly picked off. Nope! That was a great pass to the Chicago defense. Huh. :24
Hassleback is sacked. Tank?!!? The clock continues to run...And we are in OVERTIME!
Hold on! :2 left. Bugger. Risky gamble, no. Incomplete. Ok, now we go to Overtime.
"We want the ball. We're going to score." Nah. No way he'll do that again.
Seatle wins the toss and will receive.
Shaun Alexander may just win this game for Seattle. Oops...or not. Does Urlacher have to be in on every tackle?
Hassleback was just chased out of bounds. Fourth down.
Grossman is having trouble...per usual.
Rasheed Davis! Wow! Big pass by Grossman.
Hold on...Fumble by Benson? We'll have to wait and see...No! The ground forced it.
...third down...
Will Grossy pass? Sorta. He threw it away. So, do they try for a fieldgoal? You bet!
It's goooooood!!!!
Wondrous game. Sorry about your Hawks.
Not a bad day for a two year vet kicker.
Well, sir. Next year it is!
