Well, not literally . . . but I am back at home and in the office being the good priesty boy. Things to do now that I'm back:
Remove the bugs from the unattended office that have decided to take up residence in my absence;
Pick up roof shingles post-windstorm;
Complete on-line survey about health insurance;
Sort through last week's mail;
Check my truck at the fire station;
Review lessons for upcoming Sunday;
Select hymns for upcoming Sunday and program Emily
That about covers it for now.
And at coffee hour yesterday at CC, one of my parishioners said, "You're on the town council . . ." (that almost always means something not good is going to follow) . . . "What about this notice we got from your mayor (notice this was 'your mayor,' sort of like when you tell your spouse about what 'your kid' has done) about shutting people's water off if they are caught watering at the wrong times?"
I haven't seen the letter yet (gone last week, remember), so I really can't comment on it. I need to check my mail and find out exactly what this letter says. And then probably bring it up at the council meeting tonight.
Okay .... enough dilly dallying for now. Off to do some actual priesty boy type work.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.
