SNOW

It got rather chilly on Sunday and we had quite the rainstorm in the afternoon. Monday was cold and overcast, but it cleared up nicely for the football game. Nothing like that first truly fall game in crisp weather, sunshine, and leaves turning . . .

And as I looked across the field towards the Tobacco Root Mountains, I noticed they had received their first dusting of snow. Today is another crisp, chilly, sunny and gorgeous day here in SW MT, and most of the surrounding mountains are capped with a little snow. Nothing quite as beautiful as white-capped mountains against a brilliant blue sky.

I'm certainly not surprised. The mountains got dumped on big time when I was there in JUNE.

Happy winter!
