Dammit

All officials at all levels make mistakes. Witness replay in the NFL and NCAA where calls are overturned. All in all though, we do a pretty good job of getting things right. Witness how many calls are not overturned via replay.

That said, however, there's one thing we simply CANNOT get wrong, and that is penalty enforcement.

We missed two, last night.

When there is no change of possession and the opponent of the scoring team fouls, the scoring team has the option of enforcing the penalty on the try or on the kickoff.

Illegal touching by the offense is five yards and loss of down.

Dammit.
