Those weren't the exact words in the letter, but they're close enough.

Obviously a decision needs to be made. The next step is trying to figure out where to go from here.

More non-cryptic information to come when it becomes appropriate.

I"ve fielded a few questions from concerned people this evening, so I'm going to add one caveat that I think will not breach any confidentiality:

He's not talking about his marriage, folks-- Mrs. Ref is still right where she has always been, and has no intention of going anywhere else anytime soon.
