On the 5th Day of Christmas . . .

My true love gave to me,

Five emergency responders,
four stressed out family members,
three pieces of moved furniture,
two nitro tablets,
and a heart attack in the back room.

Or something like that.

It's been a rather . . . interesting . . . morning around here.

Being the morning person I am, I was up before everybody and doing some work (I know, it's vacation) at the kitchen table. Grandma came out to me and said, "Bob's having heart pain."

"Okay, is there anything I need to do? Do you need me to call 911?"

"No, he doesn't think so; and he doesn't want to bother anybody. I just wanted to let you know."

"Okay, then," I said and decided to keep an eye out in case something changed.

When Grandma heard Mrs. Ref start to dry her hair, she went to her with the same story. Well, it turns out that this was more serious than what she indicated to me. So we eventually called 911, got the FD and an ambulance crew here, and they wheeled Grandpa out of the house and off to the hospital. M-I-L, F-I-L and Grandma then followed the ambulance up to the hospital.

Mrs. Ref and I stayed at the house . . . way out of the way.

I'm sure we'll find out what's going on eventually. Until then, pray for sanity.
