God is such a comedian

Sometimes we get into situations that make us wonder where God is in all of it. And we have to work to see God's hand -- guiding, supporting and comforting. And sometimes we have a very hard time seeing God's hand guiding, supporting and comforting us.

I think the reason that we have a hard time seeing God's hand in our current difficult situations is because that, like a magician, he's got us looking in the wrong place. And while we're busy looking in the wrong place, he's busy pulling the rug out from under us.

When you say, "Yes," to God, things happen. And I think he thinks that's funny.

And, actually, sometimes it really is. So tonight, I'm laughing.
