Who in the world???

The other night I was woken up by a cell phone ringing at 1:53 a.m.

The good news is that it wasn't MY cell phone; which would normally mean something bad.

The bad news is that Mrs. Ref's cell phone was ringing at ONE FIFTY THREE A.M.

"Who in the world is calling at this time of night??" I asked.

Mrs. Ref said something unintelligible about not knowing and trying to find out.

As it turned out, it was Su, our foreign exchange daughter from a few years ago. She lives in South Korea and was calling to get our address.

"I'm sorry," she said, "I got my times mixed up."

Uh huh.

Good to know she's doing okay.
