Bad News all the way around

Item 1: The excavation crew was here today digging up things to replace the broken pipe. The problem is that the entire pipe is of a style not allowed to be used anymore because (Suhh-Prise, SuuhPrise, SuuhhPrise) it is prone to failure. So the city inspector was out and told the excavators that they were required to replace the ENTIRE LINE with up-to-date pipe. This includes everything under the building.

Item 2: I am NOT ALLOWED to be sick during Holy Week. Just sayin'

Oy! That's all - just oy!

Concentrate on Holy Week and let the Junior Warden and the Vestry worry about this. (Yeah, suuuure.)

Actually, the JW called me this morning and said she was going to start calling people and arguing for a grandfather clause of sorts on the pipe that's still good. It might help that the city manager is a parishioner -- or it might not.

So, yes ... focusing on HW.
