THE FOOT

It turns out that the ankle isn't really broke afterall. The doctor in Dillon had an opening yesterday afternoon, so Mrs. Ref and I took a drive. Apparently, when I landed wrong and sprained it, the ligaments chipped a small piece of bone, making it look like a possible break to the PA who treated me. This is good news actually.

I now get to walk again. I have a removable splint that I need to wear for about six weeks. After that I can start to rehab it. By the time those six weeks are up, however, the weather should be cold enough here in MT to discourage me from running at all. So, it looks like I'll be off the road until next spring.

I am SO thankful that I didn't pursue officiating this year.
