WET

I worked a game yesterday afternoon in Twin. It was an 8-man, JV game, and there were only two officials. I had just enough time to recover from all that running down in Lima, and now here I am covering as much territory as two of us would normally cover. Luckily I don't have another game until Friday night. Which, by the way, I'm the white hat for this one.

Anyway, on top of having only two of us out there, it rained . . . hard. It's been a long time since I've been that wet. I didn't have to look through a waterfall as the water cascaded off the bill of my hat, but there was a steady stream everytime I looked down.

I came home and took a hot shower. And today I am buying a new pair of gloves. I had been using a fleece pair inside of a leather pair, but I found out yesterday that once my hands get wet those things are impossible to get on. So, time for a new pair that I can put on in a hurry.

Oh yeah -- I'm having fun.
