HE SAID WHAT??

Our friend Pat Robertson is at it again. The last time I ranted about him, he was pushing for the assassination of Venezuelan President Chavez. Now he's telling the people of Dover,PA that God just might "git 'em" because they voted to replace the school board (yes, the entire school board) over the issue of I.D. The people of Dover had the good sense to keep theology out of the science classroom, and Dear Pat is peeved.

Hmmm -- I wonder if God will get Pat for his lack of compassion and refusal to love his neighbor?

Clearly Pat Robertson is stuck in the strange beliefs of the Old Testament instead of fully understanding what Jesus was teaching.

I disagree - he's not stuck in some OT belief - unless it is the same beliefs Jonah had before God straightenend him out.

Moreover, there's nothing OT about telling people to seek other gods in a time of disaster - no matter how egregious their prior sins.

One of the emails to Lou Dobbs on CNN last night was something like, "Clearly there was no 'intelligent design' if somebody as wacky as Pat Robertson is a result of it."
