JUST ABOUT TIME

I'm almost ready to head up to VC. I think I've got enough warm clothes for being outside (it's currently about 5 outside). I'm only really worried about the face, most everything else is covered up.

I also had to go to Butte today. The car wouldn't start -- apparently the -17 temps did in the battery. A parishioner got it jumped for me and I just let it run for about 45 minutes before leaving. At least the inside of the car was roasty toasty. Of course, some of us are always that way, but I see no need to gloat about it.

So -- new battery, warm clothes . . . I think all I need now is a hot toddy and it would be a perfect evening.

If this blog isn't updated by Sunday with my sermon, you'll know I ended up like the middle U.S.A. guy in that Chevy commercial.
