Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Keep them doggies movin'
A couple of posts ago, I said, "We should start seeing cattle drives through town here pretty soon. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to driving through cow poop."
Well . . . it's now moving season.
The first cattle drive of the season came through downtown this morning around 5 - 5:30.
Have you ever had a dream where something in the real world influences or causes the dream? I was sleeping soundly and started dreaming of rain or sprinklers or something. Then I woke up, and that pitter patter of water was actually the sound of hooves moving down main street.
Juli hasn't ever seen a cattle drive, and we've told her that they come right down main street. I don't think she believed us. So at 5:30 I ran into her room, woke her up and said, "LOOK!!"
She didn't seem to be that impressed. Maybe because it was 5:30.
Either way, it's still early in the moving season, and she'll have lots of opportunity to see another one at more "normal" hours.
I'm glad they don't move those things during the feast day of St. Francis.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

The blessing of the animals takes on a whole new meaning.
Though that would be a heck of an outreach!
