SPRINGTIME
It's finally springtime here in SW Montana. Well, it's been springtime for about a week or two now, but I've just gotten around to posting about it.
Springtime in Montana includes snow this past week (good for the water situation), warm weather, cold weather, hail, rain, and things in bloom, especially the lilacs. I'm from Spokane, the Lilac City, and I forget how very pretty they are when in full bloom and what a great smell.
And all of the trees down through Alder Gulch are all green. The water is running, really really high right now, trees are green, mountains are still snowcapped, and the wildflowers are out.
Every once in awhile I think it would be nice to get off the main road onto one of those "broken roads" (dirt, potholes, the ones maps call "primitive") that lead up into the mountains and go wander among the wildflowers in springtime.
Now there's a thought that should keep me happy and smiling for awhile.
But the only driving I'm going to be doing for awhile is back to Chicago as the family and I are returning for the SWTS graduation, a day around town, enough church services to get my fill, dinner with a friend (hopefully), and some other general sight seeing stuff.
I guess the wildflowers will have to wait for another time.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Let's eat on Monday. I'll need a break from packing.
Needed another ride on the Ferris Wheel? :)
Safe travels.
