I should be working on my sermon. I should. I should. I should.
We left home yesterday for a little trip to Spokane. Mrs. Ref had her annual check-up with her neurologist, which goes something like this:
"How are you doing?"
"Fine."
"Any seizures this year?"
"Nope."
"Think we need to make any changes to the meds?"
"Nope."
"How's the family?"
So it really isn't a big deal, just a formality so that the doc can record that he's seen her at least once in the last year. Mrs. Ref is a neurology patient like some people are C&E church-goers.
We spent the evening with friends who always seem to have an extra room available, and later today we are driving over to Wenatchee to see Mrs. Ref's grandparents. She likes to make a point of seeing them ... well ... to be blunt ... before they die.
We'll spend the night there and come back to Spokane tomorrow, spending the night in an interesting situation. Can't elaborate now, maybe later.
We'll head home Saturday. After we get back, it's laundry and the weekly church cleaning to sweep up all the crud that has fallen down during the roof job (which is another story I need to tell here shortly).
All of that being said, I really should be working on my sermon; but I'm out of my comfort zone, in a different place, pounding my head on the table because I'm not being very inspired at the moment.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.
