WEDNESDAY AT THE STOCKMAN

It was another good night at the bar. Had some good conversations with alot of people, and that's always a good thing.

Talked with one gal who came to Thanksgiving Day service, and said that she would like to come back but she's now working on Sundays.

"Do you ever do anything mid-week?" she asked.

Hmmm . . . . maybe I need to start thinking about that.

I also met the owner of the one bar in town that I don't go to. I guess bar owners simply go to other bars when they've had enough of their own. But we talked for a long while. He agreed to come to "my place" if I came to his. So . . . I think I've figured out a plan to get him included into my schedule.

I mentioned this to my wife when I got home and she commented, "What?? Bar owners are now competing to get you!?!?"

Well, when you look at it like that . . .

And I had some other generally fun conversations. So it was a good night all in all.

And now it's time for bed.
