WOO HOO!!!!

For those of you who have been following the Saga of the Christ Church Roof . . . the last phase is officially underway.

We were awarded a UTO Grant last spring for a new roof. This would do all sorts of things, from keeping the rain and birds out to showing us just how much we were in need of a paint job. Originally, the crew was supposed to re-roof the bell tower. But when they got up there, the men said, "You can't pay me enough to get up on that thing."

So we decided a new tower was needed.

Today it came down. I took lots of pics (but I'm a Luddite, so there will be no posting of pics here). If you want to see the old tower, I suggest you click on that link over there on the right titled "My Parishes." As soon as the new tower is built and installed, we'll take a picture of that and have some non-Luddite person load it onto the parish website where you can all look at it.

Keep the workers in your prayers ... nobody's been injured yet.
