It was a productive Monday. Lots of admin type stuff happening around here in preparation for the Holy Week services. I can't get too far ahead, however, because I have a Wednesday service before I can strip the CC sanctuary. I have a Good Friday service before I can program Ms. Emily for Easter music. So, for as much as I'm ahead of the game, I still need to wait.
Thanks to David (see a couple of posts below about the fire) I got the recipe for a smokeless fire. You know, just in case we can't to the outdoor thing. Our little grocery store here has all of the necessary ingredients. I'm just hoping that I don't get put on some list somewhere for buying large amounts of combustible material . . . (he never did say how much to use, but more has to be better).
I did a little brush trimming around the fire pit. Made sure my hose stretched the required distance, and had a chance meeting with my Junior Warden and told him he was in charge of keeping the fire under control.
I also started work on the Easter sermon. I read something over at Preludium that got me thinking, so this should come out nicely.
And I did some computer work this morning.
So, all in all, it was a productive Monday.
And, to top it all off, it's the first week of the month. Which means Theology on Tap. Holy Week in the bars -- this should be fun.
If you are a priest, I hope you are staying stress free this week.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.
