BACK AGAIN

Last time I was off-line was because our computer had died and we were waiting for our new iMac to arrive.

Here's the update with the iMac: I'm still not totally comfortable with it, still feeling my way around, but it's coming. And thanks to a few good friends, I haven't thrown it out a window yet.

Then I was off-line because I was in The Really Big City supposedly learning all kinds of information that elected officials need to know. All in all, I wasn't that impressed with the conference; but the last day was very helpful. Learned all about hiring law enforcement officers (which doesn't really apply to Sheridan, but it was really good info to obtain) and about risk management (the short answer here is, "Keep your sidewalks in good repair").

I stopped in to see Jane and Bruce for some free food and check up on their flooring project. I also got more pointers about running a Mac, so thanks for that! And then I got lost in The Really Big City and needed to call to be directed out. Thank God for cell phones.

Now I am home, discovering more quake damage and making a list of what needs to be caught up and accomplished because of my absence.

Quake damage. City Council shenanigans. Church business. Yard work.
Did I say I was bored after Easter? Silly me.
