BACK TO BACK

The Oregon State Beavers baseball team has won consecutive championships. Congratulations to the Beavers and the PNW.

And while I'm on the subject of baseball . . . Ken Griffey, Jr. hit homers 583 and 584 back home in Seattle. It is safe to say that he had a huge part in keeping baseball in that town, and the people there still love him. He left Seattle for Cincinnati for all the right reasons . . . he wanted to play in the town where he grew up. Can't blame the guy for that, and the fans still love and respect the guy.

It was a good weekend for baseball in the PNW.
