So somehow I got tabbed to be the Family Camp chaplain. How did this happen??
Actually, I know how it happened .... I was asked, and in a moment of weakness, I agreed.
So from July 1 - July 7, I'll be here, chaplaining families -- or something like that (sorry they don't have better/more pictures of the place -- I'll try to get some up when I get back).
Apparently the daily routine for the chaplain is this: 9 a.m. Eucharist, late afternoon program for the adults while the kids go off and do kidly sorts of things. Other than that, I'm free to drive into Polson and golf all day if I so choose.
This program thing . . . yeah . . . working on that. I borrowed a DVD set from Jane and Bruce, "God, the Devil and Bob." I've been going through them, looking for the five or six best episodes, coming up with some good discussion topics, and hoping I don't look like an idiot when it's all said and done.
Speaking of God and Bob, The Kid is hooked on that series. I might have to purchase it after returning our borrowed copy to its rightful owners. Come to think of it, I think it's on my Amazon wish list.
That's about it for now. I'll let you all know how it goes upon my return.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.
