Water, water . . .

My little town is getting new fiber optics. The crew has been digging up the town relentlessly, and generally doing a good job. But there are occasions . . .

Like today.

I get a call from my neighbor: "Do you have any water pressure?"

"Um . . . nope."

Then later, "Why don't we have any water?"

Turns out that the fiber optic crew dug through an unmarked water main . . . On Water St., no less.

The entire town is out of water. We are hoping it will be fixed by tomorrow.
