What I did today

* Wrote a sermon
* Copied and folded ordos for November 18, 22 & 25.
* Realized I had typed the wrong dismissal hymn for 11/18 AFTER I folded them all.
* Made a correction in my copy to let the congregation know that the hymn board is correct.
* Selected music for 11/25 -- without Ms. Emily being present (Christ the King Sunday is pretty self-explanatory musically)
* Mailed carpet samples back to a dealer who didn't win
* Changed the hymn board
* Changed the reader board
* Took mass quantities of pictures of the stained glass windows for this project of selling the photos, a short history and a piece of the original carpet to help raise money for the church.
* Talked with a dear friend and hoped I helped in some small way.

That's enough.

Arg! It's so frustrating to find an error after the fact!

And in my experience, sometimes the "help" comes just in listening to a friend when they need to talk. =)
