Winter

It would appear that winter has arrived in SW Montana. It got brrr cold last night and we had some snow.

I went over to Butte yesterday to pick up some books my father sent me and to run some other errands -- pick up toner for the copier, get the tires rotated and oil changed, grab a few groceries -- that sort of thing.

It was snowing on the way over, which meant that the whole tire rotation/oil change thing might have to wait, since everybody in Butte now decided they needed snow tires. But they managed to sneak me in in a reasonable time, so that was good.

Sheridan has a skiff of snow, while VC (700 ft higher) has anywhere between six and twelve inches.

Here's hoping for a good snow pack.
