From my post "Gifts" on Wednesday:
She brought: a chasuble, stole, maniple, veil and burse SET ... a sterling silver chalice and paten ... a couple of corporals and palls ... and a box of incense (now if she could just come across a thurible).
My phone rang last night. "Hello ... this is Reverend Ref."
"Hello, Ref .... this is Tom's daughter. We're just finishing up going through his things, and I thought you would want to know that we found a thurible."
"You're kidding!"
"No! I'm not. I'll drop it off at the church before we leave town."
Wow. I have a thurible.
I'm thinking Easter Vigil.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Wish I knew what half of that stuff is...feeling pretty low church right now.
Fun!!!
Easter? Why wait?! Christmas Eve!
Or do what I used to do: Sneak into the church the night before and just burn incense for an hour. Then when people arrive on Sunday morning it smells nice, and no one complains about the smoke. :-)
I love the smell of incense in the morning - it smells like victory.
Epiphany...
Frankincense.
Do it! We three kings of Orient are setting fire to bishop and (um) squire (hey, it rhymes kinda)!
Heh.
And TEC in Montana will never be the same again...
Have fun!
