I heard that there were several protests around the country in opposition to the passage of Prop 8 in California and in support of basic and equal civil rights for LGBT people.
There were several here in Montana, but I was otherwise occupied. So, since I wasn't able to participate, and since I think that the passage of Prop 8 ranks right up there with approving separate drinking fountains, I give you Keith Olbermann:
Some people just have a way with words, and these are words I happen to agree with.

I happened up this video earlier and thought "how absolutely eloquent." I, too, didn't get out to the protests today, and I worry about the tack that some people are taking -- attacking others does nothing. I just don't happen to think that a constitution's job is to take away rights from people. Yes, my state did this, too. *sigh*
