Angels in our midst

I picked up the mail today and received a letter from a person whom I have never met but has made an offering to the parish in the past. Thinking that this was going to be along the same lines, I was pleased to see the envelope and wondered what he had to say this time.

I was quite surprised, however, when the envelope contained not a donation to the church but a donation to The Kid's upcoming trip to Germany; along with his advice to "not tell her mother everything when she calls home" (which made me laugh).
