When I went to bed last night, I checked in on ESPN2 and saw that Montana was down by 20 to Weber State in the Big Sky basketball championship game.
This is not good. And after watching Gonzaga fall to St. Marys in the WCC championship game, I found something else to watch before falling asleep.
When I woke up this morning, I heard that Montana came back and actually won the game. Not only that, but one player scored the final 21 points for UM, as well as scoring 35 points, more than the entire Weber State team in the second half.
Wow.
So . . . how about a fantasy NCAA Championship Game between Gonzaga and Montana . . . . well, a guy can dream.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Can't believe a priest who likes basketball. At least on Google. Kentucky has to be the favorite to win it all, but they have had some close games that shouldn't be close.
Chaplain at the bedside has really helped me , my brother and a young friend. I am RC for no reason except they were nice when I was really down. I am getting married in a few weeks. My "dad" and "mom" are really just a Catholic couple who pulled all three of us guys out of the gutter.
My "dad" has a big fight with Mad Priest so I'm just going to sign anonymous.
Anyway this year's NCAA tournament does not have a clear favorite, but Kansas looks like the best team I have seen.
I forgot to leave a name. "Frank" is the name I use. Chaplain at the bedside knows the ugly side of us.
Actually, Frank, I'm not much of a b-ball fan; football is more my game.
However, come tournament time, isn't everybody a basketball fan?
