Three for 15

We're heading out to Germany next week to see The Kid for the first time since August. She wants to show us around where she's been, meet some people, and generally have a good time. I'm sure once I get there it will be okay . . . but like Scalzi said just recently, "It's the getting there I don't much care for."

We aren't sure exactly how all this will work. Most of our traveling will be done by train, but just in case . . . I ran to Bozeman today to pick up an international driver's permit. It cost me $25 and took all of fifteen minutes. Of course, it was 90 minutes there and 90 minutes home.

So, three hours of driving for 15 minutes of work. Sounds about like Montana.
