Shutting down

Things are coming to a close. It was my last bar week (moved out one week because I was gone on an interview last week). Had a good night at the Stockman where I played six or seven games of pool and only lost one.

Tonight I turned in all my fire gear -- including the snazzy red helmet I was given last year, said goodbye to the guys and walked out the door.

Then I spent my last night in the Sump chatting with several people, letting them know where I was going and saying goodbyes.

And now I'm looking over my LOA, dotting i's and crossing t's.
