And speaking of football

I just sent an e-mail to the commissioner of the local officials' pool letting him know that I would like to be part of the group.

This was spurred on by 1) early July is about the time I would start thinking about getting ready for the season, and 2) I received a catalog in the mail yesterday for equipment.

So I did some googling and looking around until I found what I needed and shot the guy an e-mail.

We shall see.
