Time Crunch

I'm working a double header tonight. That's really nothing new. JV games are played on Fridays immediately before the varsity game and often crew members will work both games. Tonight I'm working with one other guy who is also working the varsity game and two other guys who aren't.

It makes for a long day of football and is normally not a big deal (except that I'm VERY tired the next day).

However . . . the varsity game got bumped up to 7 p.m. With the JV game at 4 we are going to be in a serious time crunch. Pregame comments to the JV crew will be, "I expect you to run a lot, no wasted motion, and, unless it's REALLY obvious, everybody is inbounds."

This is going to be like working a hurry-up offense for both teams all game.
