I am 99.9% sure that I have worked my last game of the season. It was relatively anti-climactic with a 51-7 drubbing and an attempted night out with the crew at the local pizza parlor which closed at 10 on a Friday night in a small town.

Playoffs are right around the corner, but for a first year guy in an association, the possibility of working a playoff game is practically non-existent. But that's okay.

I had a good year, made more good calls than bad, and enjoyed working with more people than not.

So my uniform is washed, folded and put away. Shoes have been cleaned and polished for next year. The only thing left to do is enjoy the end-of-the-year banquet and wait until next year.
