I come in to the office in the morning, turn on the computer, work on a document and try to print it out.
I won't print.
Secretary: Try turning your computer off and then on again.
Me: Wouldn't you think I did that from yesterday night to this morning?
And, of course, it prints every time.
Yesterday I worked on the lector schedule that the person in charge of lectors sent to me. I needed to correct some typos and fill in some blanks and whatnot. There was one question yet to be answered when I went home last night that has now been answered. So I went to pull up my document to update it and . . .
The computer has filed that document somewhere in its brain that I cannot locate.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Maddening! And oh, have I been ther and back! Dumb question, but have you deleted the message from your inbox? It may still be sitting there. Or, go to your document file and sort by date last modified.
And good luck!
Lady Anne
Computer has now gone from printing occasionally to not printing at all.
And I did a file search and the document appeared in something along the lines of C/temp/app/folder (I don't remember exactly, but it was something whacked like that).
I e-mailed it to my secretary and asked her to print it.
