All Alone Today

The girls are heading north today to catch a production of "West Side Story," leaving me all alone today and most of tomorrow.

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with myself. I'll probably mope around, begin taking down Christmas decorations now that Epiphany has come and gone, and maybe start getting organized for tax season.

I did some research this morning and found a few football games on.

There's some bowl game or other between SMU and Pittsburgh.

There's the FCS (formerly Division 1-AA) Championship Game between Sam Houston State (who beat both Montana schools - Boo!! - to get there) and North Dakota State University (otherwise known as ODSU here -- that's a different story).

North Dakota isn't Montana, but I guess I'll be watching and rooting for them.

And then, of course, we've got the first two games of the NFL Wildcard Weekend: Cincinnati at Houston and Detroit at New Orleans.

Not sure how I'll cope. I mean, how can a Championship Game and two other playoff games even compare to this:
