How Bizarre

This is the first place I have lived in a very, very long time where I can go run or bike and see people mowing lawns on January 2.

This can't be normal.

It was in the mid-50s in the Baltimore area until the last two days. Our daffodils are about four inches high, and we expected them to start blooming soon. However, the bottom has fallen out, and it is now well below freezing. We had snow off and on all day yesterday. I just hoope spring and summer don't decide to come two months late!

Well, we haven't had to mow our lawn (most if it got washed away in the constant rain during Novembe and December) but it was in the mid-50s in the Baltimore area until New Year's Day. The bottom has fallen out of the thermometer and it is now in the 20s, with snow flurries all day yesterday. I just hope spring and summer don't run six weeks behind schedule, too!
