Tomorrow the girls go back to school. They're sad. Me . . . not so much.
"What are you going to do when you get a job where you have to work until 5 with no spring break, summer vacation or Christmas vacation?" I asked, when The Kid was complaining about being in school.
"I'm going to get a job like yours where you only work four days a week; because, you know, Sundays don't really count as work."
All righty then.

A Few Words About Comments
Comments are always welcome here, but there are a few things you should know:
1) If you comment, leave a name. If you can't figure out how to log in or register or whatever the system is making you do (which, believe me, I fully understand how frustrating that can be) and you must comment anonymously . . . leave a name in the comment section. Purely anonymous comments will be deleted.
2) Comments I deem to be offensive, irrelevant, or generally trollish will be deleted. I'm mainly talking to the Akurians here. Don't make me get out my flag!
3) If you would like to receive e-mail notification of other comments so you can more easily follow a conversation (yeah, like I ever have those on this blog), you must register with Blogger. Sorry . . . I didn't have anything to do with that one.
Enjoy the game.

Oh, my! Where has The Kid been all her life? "Sundays don't count, huh." How about evenings? You know, Adult Bible Study, Vestry, Sunday School Teachers Meetings, counseling sessions, and all of them with somebody breathing down your neck and second guessing you the whole time.
I told you once, our middle daughter's boyfriend couldn't understand why my dad was on meds for HTN. "That's not a high pressure job, is it?"
Lady Anne, who is back to being anonymous. (Google works in mysterious ways.)
