Bad Day

This should be a good day.  The first football meeting is tonight (rookies only), and I'm taking a couple of newbies to the meeting.  Hopefully they will want to continue with this hobby.

I'm hearing thunder.  Hopefully that will bring rain.

This should be a good day.

Instead, our air quality has again been downgraded to hazardous.
Outside activities have been restricted and cancelled, so football teams can't do that.

And, more importantly, I have a parishioner who is actively dying.  Technically we don't do "last rites," but that's what people still call it, and I've been asked to administer it.

This should be a good day, but it's just not there.
